OBERON A628

RADIATOR COOLANT

DESCRIPTION

Oberon A628 is a specially balanced concentrate to provide permanent protective service to all engine coolant systems in all extremes of weather. In addition to the excellent coolant properties, Oberon A628 is very effective as an anti-boil, anti-freeze and inhibits rust and corrosion development.

CHARACTERISTICS

Prevents Rust And Corrosion

Oberon A628 protects all metallic components in cooling systems: aluminium and its alloys, cast iron, steel solders, brass and copper etc..

Anti-Freeze Protection

Protection is required in cold climates to guard against engine coolant icing up in idle engines. Oberon A628 protects against annoying and inconvenient delays in getting vehicles moving.

Facilitates Heat Transfer

Oberon A628 prevents overheating by facilitating heat transfer. It increases the boiling point of water resulting in greater temperature differential between the cooling air and the core.

Prevents Scaling

The mineral content in water used for cooling systems can cause scaling in the hottest parts of the engine. This impedes heat transfer and restricts coolant flow. By eliminating scaling, Oberon A628 effectively prevents radiator failure.

Protects Rubber Hoses

Undetected leakage of coolant caused by softened or hardened rubber hoses can damage engines. Oberon A628 RADIATOR COOLANT not only prevents such problems, but also prolongs the service life of rubber materials.

Effective Lubrication

Lack of lubrication in cooling systems can cause water pump failure, improper thermostat operation, and eventually, complete radiator failure. Oberon A628 contains special additives to lubricate water pumps and thermostats and allow radiators to function at full efficiency.

APPLICATION

Use 50ml of Oberon A628 RADIATOR COOLANT every 10 litres of radiator water capacity every 10 000 kilometres. For heavily scaled and corroded surfaces, repeat draining system at more frequent intervals until all scale is removed.

1. Drain existing radiator coolant

2. Flush radiator system until water is almost colourless

3. Fill the system with water and add Oberon A628 according to recommendation

4. Run engine for about 10-15 minutes with radiator cap off
5. Check cooling system for any leakage
